A Storm Is Brewing on the Horizon

Remember that guy that used to have a painting program on public television (called PBS here in the states)? He used to like talking about painting "happy clouds" or some crap, well the clouds on the horizon are downright pissed off and hell could be rolling in with them.

Hemsky's uncertain immediate future, Tambellini maybe getting tired of the same old song and dance here in Edmonton (THANK GOD!), our "captain" sure as hell isn't playing blood and guts hockey like he used to, and our PP needs Viagra because it is impotent without #83.

We are at a crossroads, we are nearing the halfway point of the season and we are still making the same mistakes as a team and this team seems to have no qualms about embracing mediocrity as its identity.

The time to act is now, this team needs something to break it out of its slump. A coaching change would be the method of choice, however I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening.

New owner, New GM, a New era? Let's hope so.

Yeah, he also used to make comments like "certain trees looking lonely and needing a friend".

I swear the dude was high, but he managed to pump out some great paintings (without looking at a model, a landscape, or a picture) in under 30 minutes.

The Oil could use someone that talented and consistent.
