Hall and Fowler Find Themselves Down 3-0 Against Kitchener

Who would've guessed just a week ago that the mighty Taylor Hall led Windsor Spitfires would be down 3-0 in their 3rd round series? Prior to this series they won all 8 of their playoff games. Meanwhile Jeff Skinner and the Rangers are just 1 win away from sending the defending OHL and Memorial Cup champs home.

Speaking of Skinner, he added 2 more points giving him 7 points (4-3-7 and a -2) in the first 3 games of the series compared to Taylor Hall's 3 points (1-2-3 and a -1). While I don't think that 1 round should define a players draft ranking, the fact of the matter is that Skinner has been racking up the points and he most certainly isn't hurting his draft rating.

BBO: I was at the game last Saturday in Kitchener to watch Hall for the first time. He's a great and explosion skater. In terms of positioning, on the wing, Hall is good positionally. He will look to on the offensive once he sees the dman get control of the puck. Even though Windsor has out shot the Rangers all series, the Skinner and Morin were a beast against Hall's line. Hall played with Henrique and Mitchell for the 1st two periods and then started to double shift in the third. Also, the Rangers goalie, Maxwell, should get a lot of the credit too. In terms of Cam Flower, he was pretty much unnoticeable at Saturday's game. Love regarding your posts. BTW... who are you leaning towards, Hall or Seguin? Also, do you think the way Tambo is going about his plan is based more of a Vancouver model than anything else? I mean, the Canucks have a great farm system and aren't always trying to rush their young kids and want the kids on the farm to play the same style and systems as the big club.

Thanks Dizzy, I am pretty well split down the middle. Hall is explosive and explosive can be and he has a really good offensive tool box. On the downside he leaves himself susceptible to the big hit and I get a feeling that he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Seguin on the other hand also has a great tool box but could stand to get grittier. IMO you can't go wrong with either player. It comes down to their personalities IMO.
