Falcons Weekday GDT Review #2

I missed most of the game but caught the Rob Schremp show from the tail end of the 2nd to the end of the game. Looking for shots, making more superb passes and making the Norfolk Admirals broadcast team sit up and take notice of his play.

"I asked you if there was anyone on Springfield to keep an eye on, but you didn't mention anyone"

"Schremp has great positioning and is a great passer, said that anyone could've scored that goal off of such a great pass" - on Colin McDonald's goal

"if I were a scout I'd have Schremp signed tomorrow"

Talk about rave reviews from the others teams PBP guy.

Schremp had a pair of assists, but also fired 6 shots on net. Schremp was actively looking for his shot, and in the timeframe that I saw, he nearly scored a couple including just missing a goal on a rebound by shooting it wide or the goalie got a whisker on it.

For all of his "attitude issues" he sure as hell wasn't sulking after being passed up again as a callup. For that matter, neither was Gilbert Brule. Brule dished out a BIG hit behind the Norfolk net, scored a goal, and got an assist by winning the draw back to Rob Bina who then passed the puck to Mathieu Roy who scored his first of the year late in the game.

The Falcons dropped this one 6-4, but it was an entertaining game, too bad that these 2 teams don't play eachother more often.
