Merry Christmas Everyone!

First off, best of wishes to everyone, and take the time to enjoy being with your loved ones.

Here's my Oilers related list for Santa.

Christmas Wish #1-A new coach from outside of the organization not named Crawford.

Christmas Wish #2-A real opportunity for Rob Schremp, I'm talking a JF Jacques or Patrick Thoresen chance, not an Alexei Mikhnov chance.

Christmas Wish #3-Three offensive minded lines. That would play to our teams strengths. Bring in Brule and Schremp and roll with 3 skilled lines. We don't have much in terms of elite skill, but we have young skill in droves.

Christmas Wish #4-A healthy MacIntyre. Stortini has done a respectable job of late, but Big Mac brings great excitement in his limited minutes.

Christmas Wish #5-A healthy JF Jacques. It would be great to see the big man back on skates again after back surgery. Springfield could really use a player like him right now, and he could still prove to be a good bottom 6 NHLer.

Christmas Wish #6-Signs of life from Ryan O'Marra. 3 years after his draft, O'Marra is barely hanging onto his AHL job. Something has to change soon or he will be well on his way to bustville.

Christmas Wish #7-A more confident Taylor Chorney. Hopefully he will gain more confidence and improve his production as well as defensive play. He couldn't have had much worse of a start to his pro career at the AHL level to date.

Christmas Wish #8-A 2 goalie system in Edmonton. 3 is literally a crowd in this case, time to trim the herd in net by one. It's long overdue.

Christmas Wish #9-Souray being named the new Captain when a new coach arrives.

Christmas Wish #10-To see Oilers hockey again for the first time in what seems like an eternity.
