Typical Must Win Game Against a Dinged Up Opponent Down on Their Lucks

That usually means a frustrating loss for the Edmonton Oilers. If they have any visions of making the playoffs let alone any kind of playoff success, they need to beat the Colorado Avalanche tonight. Walk up to them and fire the puck right between their eyes and put them out of their misery.

I wish that I could be confident in this team to get the job done when the situation calls for it, however I've seen this song and dance too many times in the past end up with the Oilers playing a lack luster game with no emotion and no desperation.

There is no excuse for a loss much like the recent Atlanta game that they dropped in OT. This team needs to get on a roll before Patrick O'Sullivan becomes as motivated as the rest of our forward group.

And maybe, just maybe the Captain can lead by example instead of just demonstrating what gets you 2 minute stick infractions.

Yet we have Ryan Smyth looking to play spoiler against his former mates and overdue for a goal or a big game against us. I don't like our chances.

You overestimated Ryan Smyth not sucking ass.

I was always confident he was useless, and especially not a game breaker. Otherwise we'd still be laughing about the 2006 Stanley Cup Banner.

True but he's at least due for a puck to bounce off his Toucan Sam nose and into the net against us.

When we play Colorado, I actually FEAR Ian Laperriere to score goals.

Never in my mind does Ryan Smyth cross as someone ready to score a goal.

7 million dollars later. People always bitch about Lowe for his contracts, imagine if he gave in to that retard?
