In his most recent bout of verbal diarrhea, the coach once again throws Lowe under the bus bitching about the teams makeup of small, battle less players up front. This isn't the first time, and if this clown remains as coach, it won't be the last.
I find it amazing that MacT would consider this club a division winner before the season started and then cry about the roster when the season ends. But what do you expect? MacT likes to point the finger any and everywhere before even considering taking any blame.
This guys ego is off the charts. Lowe hired him, has kissed his ass professionally and MacT seems to be fine with firing shots in his direction every chance he gets when he feels cornered. Lowe needs to step up and come to the realization that if the shoe were on the other foot and he was the coach and MacT was the GM, he'd have been fired by now.
Lowe threw him a bone in '05-06 to keep his job, and MacT has done what exactly to thank him since the cup run?
Enough already Kevin, it's time to move on for MacT and it's time for you to take a step back as well. You've let your friendship determine the fate of the Oilers, it's time to make up for lost time and past mistakes. Fire MacT or ask him to resign.
I wonder what the going rate is for coaches that openly criticize their GM's especially ones that are their "friends"? Ted Nolan ring a bell? And Muckler wasn't nearly as close to him as MacT and Lowe are.

I doubt Lowe and MacT are close anymore. MacT is pissed that Lowe traded his son, Marty Reasoner. He didn't have input in the trades at the deadline.
MacT had input into those players and yet he throws players under the bus. How convenient. Why doesn't MacT ever throw himself under the bus. He's publicly called out Penner, Nilsson and to some extent Garon. Why doesn't MacT look himself in the mirror for a change. It's MacT's fault that the Oilers have missed the playoffs for 3 straight seasons, not management.
