If Bouwmeester wants to sign in Edmonton (who really knows at this point?) this is what I would do.
To Edmonton: Nathan Horton, Jay Bouwmeester, '09 1st rounder
To Florida: Andrew Cogliano or Patrick O'Sullivan and Lubomir Visnovsky
We get a younger local product, a bigger young centerman and a 1st round pick in a hell of a deep draft. Florida gets 2 players that can help them now and sheds salary for this season to boot. This would be a win win for both teams IMO. Of course this trade is only contingent on if Bouwmeester is willing to sign in Edmonton long term.
