Taylor Hall Is Hockey's Daredevil, The Man Without Fear

A few things that we should all expect of our 1st overall pick are that he doesn't know the meaning of letting up, backing down from a hit, or bailing on a play. It could be the kind of mental toughness and balls to the walls attitude that separates him from other great talents in his generation.

A guy that will sacrifice his body for the team who also possesses world class skill. Growing up I used to read a number of comic books, one of them comes to mind when describing Hall, "Daredevil, the Man Without Fear". In an era where you see so many skilled players that aren't willing to do what their bottom six brethren have to do to cement their jobs in the NHL, a guy like Hall is a breath of fresh air.

Halls ability to skate with exceptional speed and acceleration while having a blood thirst to take the puck to the net and score will result in a number of massive collisions for the young man originally from Calgary over his NHL career. He won't be changing his style of play any time soon because quite frankly it isn't in his nature and he doesn't back down.

No matter how many points he'll register in his rookie year, Taylor Hall will have fans out of their seats whether it be from cheering his play or crossing their fingers that he's o.k. after a crushing hit. A big part of Taylor Hall's game is his ability to get rocked and bounce back up looking to get revenge on the scoreboard by coming right back at you. Taylor Hall is Edmonton's Daredevil, The Man Without Fear.
