Falcons Weekly Preview, Week 5

The Falcons square off with 2 solid teams on the road this weekend and look to improve on their current 3rd place position in the Atlantic Division. First they take on the division leading Portland Pirates. The Pirates have shot out of the gate under their new affiliation with the Buffalo Sabres to a 7-1-1-0 record and in the process have scored nearly 4 goals a game. In their lone prior meeting this season, the Falcons fell 3-2 to the Pirates.

On Saturday the Falcons take on the 4th place Hartford Wolf Pack. The Rangers affiliate has been hovering around the top 4 in the Atlantic in this young season. The Falcons beat the Wolf Pack 4-3 in Hartford in their only prior meeting this season. Hartford is currently tied in points with Springfield (11) with the Falcons holding a game in hand.

Brule's been battling injuries, Schremp? Because of the 3 goalie cluster fuck that we have going on and the teams need to carry MacIntyre and Stortini.
