Oilless Motor Seizes in the Motor City

3rd time shutout this season, a complete spanking, absolutely embarrassing effort by the Oilers. Add insult to injury, Fernando Pisani likely broke his ankle, and MacT came to the bench before the team. This could be the last hurrah of Craig Mactavish as Oilers coach. If it isn't it might be knocking on the door.

There is a look of defeat on this team, and nothing short of being torn down and rebuilt will help the teams fortunes. They aren't getting results with the system, their aspirations of being a really good team are down the toilet, everything is going in one direction, the WRONG direction.

Perhaps Penner returns against the Blue Jackets, but why would it not surprise me to see Jesse Boulerice back in the lineup instead of Penner or a farmhand?

Let's see how MacT spins this pathetic loss.

It's a beautiful thing, seeing your aspirations come to fruition.

And for hunter1909, it's seeing MacTavish finally left twisting in the wind, like a rotten tooth thats hanging by a single piece of skin in the mouth...

Let's all hope the blue jackets make like central red army tonight and help seal the deal

PS: i got myself another asshole ripped on lowetide's blog for mentioning my regard for schremp lol...it was like...amazing...

almost like oilers fans expectations for prospects has come to reflect the darker aspirations of the management...you know...like stalinist USSR...or 1984 2 minute hate...kind of unreal and kind of sad really...

not that it bothered me too much, i really dont give a fuck what anyone thinks

Hopefully it won't drag on much longer and they'll just be done with it. As for Schremp, the team's offense is crap, he's the best offensive player that we have in Springfield, they supposedly wanted to get him into some games this year, what's the issue? It's about time they show some confidence in him.

In a perfect universe MacT gets the boot and the real coach brings him up, like a real coach should.
