Schremp's Goalless Streak is on Borrowed Time

After 13 games (tying the longest goalless streak of his AHL career) Rob Schremp finally emerged looking to put the puck on net. Robbed on 2-3 solid scoring chances against the Norfolk Admirals, Schremp is poised to pot his first goal of the season. And with new linemate Bryan Lerg in tow as well as offensive minded blueliner Cody Wild joining his PP unit, it will come soon. By the end of this weekend Rob Schremp should have his first goal, and maybe even more than one under his name.

It's about time that he's actively looking to score, but better late than never, and with an open forward spot on the Oilers, now would be a good time to show his complete offensive game to Assistant Oilers GM Rick Olczyk and Oilers development coach Bob Mancini.

Goal and two assists tonight good enough for you?

Gotta give credit where it's due, and you called the Lerg experiment. Seems he's done nothing but good things with Schremp and Potulny. Lerg went 1-1 and Potulny was 1-2 to stay on par with Robbie.

Oh, and the Falcons only gave up 22 shots too. Great night for the Birdies.

Yep, although I was hoping for a 2nd goal or a 3rd assist ;)
