If Quinn Isn't Looking For Goonery, Here's What We Could See As Our 14 Forwards

Going off the assumption that Quinn wants size but not just a guy to keep the Derek Boogard's and the Brian Magrattan's of the world employed at the NHL level, this could be what we come to see at the end of camp......

O'Sullivan-Horcoff-Hemsky
Comrie-Gagner-Penner

Moreau-Cogliano-Pisani
Schremp-Brule/Pouliot-Nilsson

Stortini, Jacques

Against teams where we need added beef in the lineup.......

O'Sullivan-Horcoff-Hemsky
Comrie-Gagner-Penner

Moreau-Cogliano-Pisani
Jacques-Brule/Pouliot-Stortini

Schremp, Nilsson

Either way that is a very strong group of forwards. The top lineup competes against more skilled teams, while the bottom one competes against the tougher ones.

Another possibility......
O'Sullivan-Horcoff-Hemsky
Comrie-Gagner-Penner
Moreau-Cogliano-Pisani

Nilsson-Schremp-Stortini
Jacques, Brule/Pouliot

When the going gets tough Stortini gets more ice time, when it's not you can double shift Hemsky with the 4th line every now and then to catch the opposition sleeping.

Flexibility in the lineup could be huge for the Oilers this season. They have a lot of skill at their disposal as well as some bruisers if need be.
