Oilers dump $3 million in salary, a guy that makes some of the most boneheaded decisions with the puck, and replace him with a young, cheap, up and comer in Taylor
Chorney. The return IMO seems a little light, I would've hoped to have also have gotten a 4
th rounder or something, but considering the uncertainty with Russian players bolting to the
KHL, I think that we take the 2
nd rounder and run.
Hopefully this is the first of many trades that will weaken the team as we try to solidify the worst record in the league while also adding as many picks and prospects as possible. Goodbye
